Among fans, the faction is commonly referred to as the Midwestern Brotherhood of Steel, a designation created originally to differentiate it from the Lyons' Brotherhood of Steel. Although a fully realized organization in their own right, they can also be considered a rogue chapter of the original Brotherhood of Steel. The Eastern Brotherhood of Steel in the Midwest is a major faction formed out of a splinter of the original Brotherhood of Steel. The following is based on Fallout Tactics and some details might contradict canon.
